Monday Morning

We have all been under the weather.  First the girls, and now Mabry and me.  The babies are finishing up their antibiotics and feeling much better.  I love Monday mornings.  A fresh start to a brand new week.
We ran a few errands as soon as we were finished with breakfast, and came home to play outside for a little bit before Miss miss went down for her morning nap.  I sewed for a while, and Sophie played  sat at my feet and got tangled in the sewing machine cord.  I made a conscious effort to leave the TV off most of the morning.  I fall guilty of letting her watch PBS Kids all morning long, so I can get my chores completed in peace.

At 11:00 a.m. sharp we turn it to channel 8 so she can watch Barney.  She loves Barney!!  She likes to sit in my room and watch.
She starts off watching, and eventually joins in the fun by singing and dancing along.

I remember laying in my parents bed as a child.  I loved the way their room smelled.  I especially loved a fall morning with the windows opened and laying underneath one of the quilts that used to hang from the upstairs balcony.

Security.  That is what comes to mind when I think of that.  I love that Sophie is able to have the same thing.  I am able to be  home with her, and she can lay in my bed on a fall morning and watch her favorite purple dinosaur sing songs.

Brecken loves Barney too! And Kayden loves to lay in my bed and watch TV. Show us some of your sewing projects! I am intrigued!
