My Birthday Song

I would be telling a story if I said turning 30 didn't sting just a little bit. I did not think I would be phased at all leading up to my birthday, but when I say it out loud I can feel a little tug in my stomach that makes me a little uncomfortable. I am going to embrace it!

My twenties were great. Mabry and I got married, and we had our beautiful girls. I can only see that life is getting better and fuller. If I could pick a "birthday song" this would be it. I pray that this year I would make this declaration everyday. Hosanna in the highest!

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like You have loved me

Break my heart for what breaks Yours
Everything I am for Your kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity

I see the King of glory
Coming down the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes, the whole earth shakes

I see His love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing, the people sing

Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest

I see a generation
Rising up to take the place
With selfless faith, selfless faith

I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We're on our knees, we're on our knees

Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest

Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like You have loved me

Break my heart for what breaks Yours
Everything I am for Your kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity

Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
